At a bus terminal in a country town in the middle of the night, three men are thrown together by circumstance. Over one evening of drinking, teasing and fighting, they search for a common ground.

Set in a harsh landscape dominated by prejudice, isolation and cultural stereotypes, David Brown sets three characters adrift to find some sense of themselves and each other.

Funny, revealing and filled with an evasive sense of hope, Eating Ice Cream with Your Eyes Closed is a memorable insight into the reality of being a bloke in regional Australia.
